In February we had a visit from Jakki Brown who is Joint Managing Director of Max Publishing. Max Publishing create a large number of the trade magazines for the Giftware, Greeting Cards and Homewares Industries. In a brief conversation with Jakki at a trade show in January I mentioned what we are doing at Papilio with Makaton as well as the Junior Retailer Scheme I started last summer. Junior Apprenticeship - What we've been up to

During the summer we've been carrying out a Junior Apprenticeship for 7-11 year olds in Papilio home. If you missed the first post on why we're doing it you can have a read here. Today I'm sharing what we've been up to with the kids. Each child has had four sessions with us, (each of 1 hour long) and each covering a different aspect of running a shop/business.
